I create one-of-a-kind functional work in my Concord, Massachusetts studio. The work, mostly stoneware, is handbuilt using hard slabs of clay which are softened to form curved surfaces. Wheel-thrown pieces are occasionally added to complete the form.
The glaze is sprayed on various textured surfaces, creating a shadowing effect, with rich surface design. Click here or on the photo above to see some of my recent studio work. |
